The Pink Colour and the Redesigned Glyph — Explained
Nothing’s Colour Material Finish Design Lead Lucy Birley explained the thinking behind pink: “Pink is actually just desaturated red, and when we put the tint inside the transparency, because of how the light interacts with the resin underneath, you get this incredible sense of depth, which makes our products look really lively.” It’s a thoughtful design language — not just a colour choice.
On the Glyph side, the new system features six white LEDs arranged vertically to the right of the camera, with the last LED turning red as a dedicated recording indicator — a genuinely useful functional touch. Notification options include dolphin, wings, and more, while the hourglass effect from the Nothing Phone (3) has been recreated with a single column of LEDs — an impressive engineering feat.
To mark the Pink reveal, Nothing launched disruptive graffiti flyposters across central London and a full pink graffiti takeover of the Nothing Store Bengaluru window.
