Nothing Phone (1)’s Indian pricing leaks via a suspicious Flipkart screenshot

Carl Pei-backed Nothing is set to launch the Phone(1) later today on the 12th of July 2022. The company has been actively teasing this phone and its specs which it has managed to keep tightly under wraps somehow. The pricing of this phone is still a question.

Nothing Phone(1) will be priced at Rs.34,999 for the Indian variant:

NOTHING Phone (1) has reached over 100,000 pre-orders, off to a great start

Ahead of the upcoming launch, the pricing of the device has been leaked, per Twitter users Rahul SH, he posted an image of the device in what appears to be a listing on Flipkart. Here the smartphone is priced at Rs. 34,999 for the 8GB RAM+128GB version.

The Indian pricing of the smartphone has surfaced through rumors and other tipsters before. Previous rumors set the price of the device at Rs.31,000 for the base variant while the top-tier model retails for Rs.36,000. The pricing seems appropriate and Nothing has managed to keep it disruptive and competitive as it is produced in India.

The image still does not manage to completely convince us and we are nearly at the endgame now! Just a few more hours till we get our hands on the smartphone.

So far we know that Phone(1) will feature a 6.55″ OLED display with support for a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate. The display has a hole-punch camera setup on the top left and is protected by a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass. It has an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor for biometrics.

In the optics department, it has a dual-camera setup on the rear with a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor with f/1.8 aperture and a 1/1.56″ sensor. It arrives with support for both OIS and EIS for stabilization. We will get an ultrawide secondary sensor and on the front, we will see a 16MP shooter with 114 degrees FOV.
