Neymar transfer news: Al Hilal agree €100m deal with PSG for transfer

Neymar transfer news: Al Hilal have reached an agreement with PSG for the transfer of Neymar. The French champions will receive a transfer fee just under €100 million, after signing him for €222 million six years ago from Barcelona.

The Brazilian remains the most expensive signing of all-time, and is now set to move on from PSG after seeking a new challenge.

Neymar has been unable to stay consistent enough to appear in the critical stages of the Champions League on multiple occasions. The closest he came to achieving the trophy was in 2020 when PSG faced Bayern Munich in the final. But, they ultimately came up short in spite of an inspiring performance from the Brazilian.

Neymar to Al Hilal transfer: Full agreement reached

The Saudi Arabian club has presented Neymar with a formal proposal to sign him this summer. The player has accepted a major contract with Al Hilal as well, and will complete the transfer soon.

The proposal has been described as a huge bid for the Brazilian, and talks are underway with PSG for the transfer to go through. The discussions are now in the final stages and a final agreement should be achieved in the coming days.

Neymar will be wearing the number 10 shirt at Al Hilal, and will sign a two-year contract with the Saudi Arabian club to complete the transfer.

Neymar transfer news: Chelsea move ruled out

Chelsea have been linked with the Brazilian, especially since PSG have set a nominal price tag between £50-80 million for the player. Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino has reportedly ruled out a move for the player, due to the abundance of talent in wide positions. 

PSG want to build a younger squad for the future and we could finally see the Brazilian leave after massive speculation over the last six years.
