Samsung will announce the successor to the GalaxyBuds at the Galaxy Unpacked event that is scheduled to be held the next month. We have witnessed several leaks relating to the GalaxyBuds 2, a leak that emerged today gives us one of the best looks we have had of the buds.
The leaks were part of Evan Blass’ tweet and were posted in form of GIFs and they show the GalaxyBuds 2 in a White variant, a Lavender Purple variant, and an Olive Green variant.
Contrary to the previous Galaxy Buds that came in a case with uniform colors, all of the GalaxyBuds 2 will come in a white case, the interiors of the case however will match the color of the buds.
Despite the new earbuds featuring an in-ear design, there have been certain design changes that have been made. The buds themselves look smaller and come in a square case with rounded edges similar to the Galaxy Buds Live and the Galaxy Buds Pro.
The case has a USB Type-C port at the back and it also is compatible with wireless charging platforms. It features an LED light in the front that indicates when the case is charging and another that lights up when the buds themselves are charging.
The GalaxyBuds 2 will feature ANC and improved bass, courtesy of IceUniverse. It has also been reported previously that each of the earbuds will have a battery capacity of 60mAh and the case itself will have a capacity of 500mAh.
