February 2026 was a genuinely exciting month for Indian content on Netflix. Here’s everything that dropped, with a proper breakdown of each title.

February 2026 Indian Content on Netflix —Overview

The Full Breakdown

🎬 1. Anaganaga Oka Raju (2026) — Feb 10

The title literally translates to “Once Upon a Time, There Was a King” — and this Telugu rom-com delivers on that fairytale energy. Naveen Polishetty plays Raju, a man from a prestigious but secretly broke family who marries a wealthy woman (Meenakshi Chaudhary) — only to discover she’s been less than honest too. With both of them trying to mask financial ruin, Raju’s grand solution is to dive headfirst into politics. It’s breezy, relatable, and laugh-out-loud funny in the right moments. Available in 5 languages.

2. Thalaivar Thambi Thalaimaiyil (2026) — Feb 11

If you’ve ever attended a chaotic Indian family event, this Tamil comedy will feel painfully familiar. Village leader Jeevarathnam has to somehow manage a wedding and a funeral happening simultaneously — with neither family willing to yield an inch. Throw in someone getting possessed, a rival politician trying to score votes off the drama, and you have an absolute mess of a day that’s gold to watch. Directed by Nithish Sahadev, starring Jiiva and Thambi Ramaiah. Pure, delightful chaos.

3. Kohrra Season 2 (Netflix Original) — Feb 11

Netflix’s only Punjabi-language Original series makes a triumphant return. ASI Amarpal Garundi (Barun Sobti) is transferred to a new station in rural Punjab, where he teams up with Inspector Dhanwant Kaur (Mona Singh) to investigate the murder of a woman whose tangled connections start cutting uncomfortably close to both their personal lives. Season 1 was critically celebrated for its raw, authentic portrayal of life in Punjab, and Season 2 appears to deepen that world significantly. Rannvijay Singha also stars. This is essential binge-watch material for crime thriller fans.

4. Gevi (2025) — Feb 14

A quiet but powerful Tamil independent film marking director Tamil Dhayalan’s debut. Corruption has stripped a remote village of any medical care, and when a woman goes into labor with her life at risk, the entire community mobilises to save her. Gevi is raw, urgent, and emotionally honest — the kind of grassroots storytelling that rarely gets mainstream attention but absolutely deserves it.

5. Chatha Pacha (2026) — Feb 18

Three brothers grow up obsessed with WWE. As adults, they decide to bring professional wrestling to their hometown of Fort Kochi. Malayalam cinema hasn’t quite seen anything like this — and the main cast spent three months actually training in the theatrical art of wrestling to pull it off. The result is a gloriously fun action-comedy that marks the Malayalam debut of legendary Bollywood music trio Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy. Starring Arjun Ashokan, Roshan Mathew, and Vishak Nair. This one’s an absolute crowd-pleaser.

6. Padmaavat (2018) — Feb 23

Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s visually magnificent historical epic finally joins the Netflix India catalogue. Deepika Padukone plays the legendary 13th-century Rajput queen whose extraordinary beauty draws the obsessive wrath of the Delhi Sultan (Ranveer Singh in a terrifying, career-defining performance). Shahid Kapoor co-stars as her devoted husband. Despite its deeply turbulent pre-release controversy, Padmaavat remains one of the most breathtaking spectacles in Indian cinema — all 162 minutes of it. If you haven’t seen it yet, now’s the time.

7. Accused (2026, Netflix Original) — Feb 27

This Hindi psychological drama is quietly one of Netflix India’s most daring releases of the year. Konkona Sen Sharma plays Geetika, a sharp London-based surgeon whose career is derailed by an anonymous sexual harassment allegation — just as things were finally looking up. As more complaints emerge, paranoia seeps into her marriage with Meera (Pratibha Rana), and both women begin questioning everything they thought they knew. Accused is a rare mainstream OTT title that handles LGBTQ themes with genuine nuance and care. Directed by Anubhati Kashyap. Don’t sleep on this one.

8. The Great Indian Kapil Show — Ongoing Saturdays

Kapil Sharma’s beloved talk show keeps delivering weekend entertainment. February’s Valentine’s special brought director Vishal Bhardwaj to the couch alongside Shahid Kapoor, Triptii Dimri, and Avinash Tiwary to promote their new romantic thriller O’Romeo. As reliably entertaining as ever.
