Netflix’s Alpha Males Gets a Season 6 — But This Hilarious Spanish Comedy Is Signing Off for Good

Bittersweet news for fans of one of Netflix’s most consistently entertaining Spanish comedies. Alpha Males (Machos Alfa) has been officially renewed for a sixth season — and confirmed as its last. The good news? It’s already in production and the whole gang is coming back for one final, gloriously chaotic send-off.

Alpha Males Season 6 — All Key Details

The Story So Far — And What to Expect in the Finale

Created by Alberto and Laura Caballero, Alpha Males follows four friends who aspired to be the perfect examples of “new masculinity,” only to become a walking tutorial of exactly what not to do. It’s the kind of comedy that holds a mirror up to modern men fumbling their way through self-improvement — and it’s been painfully, brilliantly funny every step of the way.

In this grand farewell, Pedro, Raúl, Santi, and Luis are going to give it one last shot — desperately trying to be new men, exemplary fathers, and flawless allies, but true deconstruction continues to hilariously resist them.

This is the perfect conclusion to a show that never took itself too seriously, which is exactly what made it so watchable. If you haven’t caught up yet, now is the time — it’s a masterclass in Spanish comedy television.

The Numbers Don’t Lie — This Show Has Been a Global Hit

The series has proven to be a consistent global performer for Netflix — its first season spent three weeks in the Global Top 10, racking up 44.9 million viewing hours, while Season 4 had the longest run yet with four weeks on the global charts and 24.3 million viewing hours.

Following Season 5’s arrival on April 17, 2026, the series returned to the daily top 10s across 30 countries, with Spain going straight to number 1 — and the show has now spent 189 days total in the Netflix Spain top 10. whats-on-netflix

A Franchise That Spread Across Europe

The show’s success didn’t stop at Spain’s borders. Alpha Males spawned multiple European spin-offs including the Dutch equivalent Roosters, the Italian Real Men, the French Shafted, and the German Dudes — though none are likely to match the success of the original. whats-on-netflix
