Netflix Games Gets a Glow-Up: KPop Demon Hunters and Stranger Things Crossovers Land This Week

Netflix’s gaming library just got a stealthy but exciting upgrade, with two of its most popular mobile titles receiving major IP makeovers. From HUNTR/X-themed kitchens to Upside Down-infused card decks, here’s everything new hitting the Netflix Games app.

KPop Demon Hunters: Overview

Toca Boca Jr Kitchen Goes K-Pop

The beloved kids’ sandbox game just received a complete visual overhaul tying into KPop: Demon Hunters, Netflix’s biggest movie of all time. Players can now spot HUNTR/X-style easter eggs throughout the game, enjoy a menu soundtrack featuring the “Golden” track, and cook up themed dishes inspired by the film’s girl group members.

Solitaire Gets an Upside Down Makeover

Netflix’s most-played mobile game, Solitaire, is getting a spooky Stranger Things refresh just as fans await the show’s final season. The update introduces customizable Hawkins-themed backgrounds, unique card backs featuring Hellfire Club logos and demogorgon imagery, plus retro 80s visual flair when clearing boards.

Why These Updates Matter?

With KPop: Demon Hunters’ sequel still years away, these crossovers are a clever way for Netflix to keep the IP relevant, alongside upcoming Netflix House expansions and a concert. Similarly, Stranger Things continues expanding its gaming footprint beyond dedicated titles like Stranger Things: 1984, now reaching casual puzzle and card game audiences too.
