Nam Yoon Su Goes to Terrifying Lengths for Views in New Thriller “Killing Time”

Chasing clout has never looked more dangerous. New stills from the upcoming thriller “Killing Time” show Nam Yoon Su completely transformed into a desperate livestreamer willing to risk everything for one more viral moment — and the images alone are enough to set the tone for what’s shaping up to be a tense October release.

What’s “Killing Time” About?

The film follows an internet broadcasting crew, also called “Killing Time,” that built its fame on shock-value content — until tragedy struck when one member died during a live stream. Instead of stepping back, the group pushes forward with a comeback attempt, heading into an abandoned hospital for their next broadcast. What starts as a desperate bid for relevance quickly spirals into a fight for survival against a mysterious, merciless entity lurking inside.

Nam Yoon Su’s Character: Joo Won

Nam Yoon Su plays Joo Won, the crew’s leader, producer, and director — a man so fixated on reviving his struggling channel that he keeps pushing his team toward increasingly provocative content, even as danger closes in. The newly released stills capture that obsession perfectly: one shows his unwavering resolve, while another reveals a tense, hardened expression suggesting he’s encountered something far worse than he expected.

Killing Time: Overview

Why This Premise Hits Hard?

“Killing Time” taps into a very real, very modern anxiety — the pressure to keep content relevant no matter the cost. By grounding its horror in livestream culture and the desperation for engagement, the film adds a sharp, contemporary edge to the abandoned-hospital thriller formula. Nam Yoon Su previously impressed audiences in “Love in the Big City,” making this a notable genre pivot for the rising actor.
