Mumbai Comic Con 2026 wrapped up on May 9–10 at the Jio World Convention Centre, drawing over 55,000 fans across two electrifying days of anime, cosplay, comics, gaming, and celebrity meet-and-greets. Presented by Maruti Suzuki Arena and powered by Crunchyroll, with support from the Government of Maharashtra’s Industries Department and MAITRI, this was more than an event — it was a cultural moment.

A Star-Studded Guest Lineup

Comic fans got face time with Ramón K. Pérez, an Eisner and Harvey Award-winning cartoonist celebrated for The Amazing Spider-Man and All-New Hawkeye. Anime fandom went into overdrive with voice actor Taito Ban and producer Atsushi Kaneko from global phenomenon Solo Leveling — the biggest anime on-ground activation India has ever seen.

The crowd hit fever pitch when legendary singer Hiroshi Kitadani — the iconic voice behind We Are!, One Piece’s legendary opening theme — took the stage. Day 2 kept energy blazing with DJ Kazu‘s high-voltage anime set. Nostalgia lovers scored a rare treat too: Yvon and Christian Tremblay, creators of cult classic SWAT Kats, were on the floor for meet-and-greets, while Harry Hambley (creator of the viral Ketnipz “Bean” character) drew long queues for poster signings.
