The gaming community is abuzz with excitement following a recent wave of leaks surrounding the popular platform fighter, Multiversus. The Warner Bros. owned game, developed by Player First Games, Multiversus has captured the hearts of many with its diverse roster of iconic characters.

The latest leaks hint at an even more expansive universe for the game, with new skins, character renders, and stages potentially on the way.

A Glimpse into the Future

The leaks, initially shared on X and subsequently compiled on Reddit’s r/GamingLeaksandRumors, offer tantalizing glimpses into what could be in store for Multiversus players.

Fans have been treated to images of potential new skins for existing characters, as well as renders of entirely new characters. Perhaps even more exciting are the leaked stage designs, which suggest a wide range of franchises could be represented in the game.

Among the leaked franchises are beloved classics like Adventure Time, Samurai Jack, and PowerPuff Girls, as well as unexpected additions such as Barbie, Harry Potter, and Mad Max. These diverse choices offer a tantalizing taste of the potential directions Multiversus could take.

A Closer Look at the Leaks

The leaked images, while limited in scope, provide enough detail to spark speculation and excitement among fans. While the stages are still in their early concept stages, their basic shapes and colors clearly evoke their respective franchises. The X user who shared the leaks, AusilMV, has even provided insightful commentary on the subtle details that hint at each stage’s origin.

One particularly intriguing leak is a stage seemingly inspired by Steamboat Willie, suggesting a potential collaboration between Warner Bros. and Disney. While such a partnership would be unprecedented, it’s important to remember that early Multiversus development included assets from Marvel and Disney, although their inclusion in the final game remains uncertain.

Fan Reactions and Speculation

The possibility of a Steamboat Willie stage has ignited a passionate debate among fans. While some are thrilled at the prospect of such a crossover, others remain skeptical, citing Epic Games’ ongoing collaborations with Disney as a potential obstacle.

It’s crucial to approach these leaks with caution. While the images appear polished, there’s no guarantee that this content will ever see the light of day. Warner Bros. Games and Player First Games have yet to officially comment on the leaks, leaving fans in a state of uncertainty.

The Road Ahead

Despite the lack of official confirmation, the leaked content has undoubtedly generated significant buzz around Multiversus. Fans are eagerly anticipating any official announcements regarding the game’s future. The Samurai Jack collaboration, already confirmed on the Multiversus website, offers a glimmer of hope that the leaks might hold some truth.

As the gaming community continues to speculate and analyze the leaked images, one thing is clear: Multiversus has the potential to become an even more expansive and exciting platform fighter. Only time will tell if these leaks will materialize into reality.
