MSI CES 2026: 4-Rank CUDIMM, GPU Safeguard+ & 6.67″ OLED

MSI unveiled a comprehensive PC building ecosystem at CES 2026—showcasing world’s first 4-Rank CUDIMM support (256GB total capacity at 10,000+ MT/s), GPU Safeguard+ real-time protection, MEG MAESTRO 900R triple-sided panoramic chassis, and MEG CORELIQUID E15 360 with 6.67-inch curved OLED display.

4-Rank CUDIMM: 256GB Memory Breakthrough

MSI’s R&D team achieved a world-first milestone: motherboard support for 4-Rank CUDIMM memory modules delivering 128GB per stick, enabling massive 256GB total capacity on 2-DIMM designs. Validated on MSI’s Intel chipset motherboard optimized for 1SPC (1 Slot Per Channel), the configuration passed stable burn-in testing exceeding 10,000 MT/s for 1-Rank configurations.

Live CES demonstrations showcase 63% performance improvement (OC) versus standard configurations—meeting extreme overclocking enthusiast and professional user demands without significantly compromising capacity limits. This matters for data-intensive AI training, engineering simulations, and content creation requiring unprecedented memory bandwidth and capacity simultaneously.

MSI CES 2026 Innovation Highlights

GPU Safeguard+: Real-Time Power Protection

MSI’s GPU Safeguard+ technology redefines hardware safety through comprehensive real-time power monitoring. Safeguarding the 12V-2×6 connector, it detects abnormal current fluctuations and triggers immediate warnings via MSI Center on-screen alerts plus audible PSU buzzers—enabling issue resolution before permanent hardware damage.

This addresses the widespread concern around high-power GPU connectors following reports of melted cables and damaged ports. By implementing precision monitoring at the PSU level, MSI provides proactive protection rather than reactive troubleshooting.

The MPG Ai1600TS/Ai1300TS PCIE5 power supplies deliver Titanium-level efficiency with significantly enhanced +12V stability, 100% Japanese 105°C capacitors, dual native 12V-2×6 connectors, and SiC MOSFETs for optimized acoustic profiles. Platinum-rated MAG A1200PLS/A1000PLS models add Fan Safeguard technology—audible alerts for fan failures ensuring system stability.

AMD MAX Series: Integrated OC Engine

MSI’s AMD X870(E)/B850 MAX motherboards feature integrated OC Engine enabling asynchronous BCLK control for precise frequency tuning—delivering up to 15% higher gaming performance in supported scenarios. The onboard Direct OC Jumper allows real-time BCLK adjustments within the operating system, while BCLK Booster adds one-click overclocking.

All MAX boards include upgraded 64MB BIOS chips expanding ROM capacity for current and future AMD processors. The MEG X870E UNIFY-X MAX targets extreme overclocking through dedicated 2-DIMM layouts for record-class CPU and DDR5 performance. Its Tuning Controller provides hands-on parameter adjustment, CMOS clearing, fail-safe mode entry, and settings restoration via single press.

The MAG B850 MAX lineup—TOMAHAWK MAX WIFI II, M MORTAR MAX WIFI, and all-white GAMING PLUS MAX WIFI—combines robust power design with Wi-Fi 7 and 5G LAN. EZ DIY features include one-click GPU removal (EZ PCIe Release), tool-free SSD installation (EZ M.2 Shield Frozr II/Clip II), and simplified antenna setup (EZ Antenna).

MEG MAESTRO 900R: Panoramic Showcase

The flagship chassis features triple-sided glass display transforming systems into visual centerpieces. Supporting extreme custom water-cooling, dual-GPU setups, and next-gen components, the innovative EZ Rotatable Motherboard Tray enables tuning and customization outside the chassis—streamlining complex builds.

Premium materials and rigid construction deliver maximum visibility and impact, setting new standards for high-end PC showcases where aesthetics matter as much as performance.

MEG CORELIQUID E15 360: Curved OLED Innovation

The 6.67-inch 2K curved OLED display with 110° curvature delivers wider viewing angles across various chassis designs. Custom-designed interface offers naked-eye 3D visual effects, serving as an immersive, informative centerpiece.

Thermal performance leverages upgraded 31mm-thick radiator increasing cooling surface area, while TriFlow Reversal fan design reduces turbulence and improves airflow efficiency. EZ Conn (JAF_2 interface) consolidates fan control, ARGB lighting, and USB signals into single connector for clean setups.

Dual-Tower Air Coolers & DigiME

The MPG COREFROZR AP15/AP17 introduce dual-tower air cooling with integrated displays. The AP15 features Digi Display for real-time monitoring, six heat pipes, and AMD X3D optimization. The flagship AP17 delivers 6-inch LCD with eight heat pipes and nickel-plated copper base for top-tier air-cooling performance.

DigiME software enables ready-to-use VTuber streaming with multi-language support, Voicemod integration, and customizable avatars. MIA intelligent voice assistant serves as MSI product expert providing real-time guidance with advanced voice customization.

MSI’s comprehensive ecosystem approach demonstrates commitment to simplified PC building through EZ DIY innovations, enhanced safety via GPU Safeguard+, and visual excellence through panoramic chassis and curved OLED displays.
