Motorola to launch another power-packed smartphone – the Motorola One Power with Snapdragon 636 Soc and dual cameras on September 24th

Motorola, a Lenovo owned smartphone company, is soon to bring their new mid-ranged performer to India. They already introduced the smartphone with the Motorola One at the IFA 2018, and soon they will be presenting it to the Indian customers.

The official Motorola India Twitter handle has revealed that the Android One-powered device will be launched in India later this month. We are not sure if they will also launch the Motorola One.

One thing we can say surely that the Motorola One Power will hit the market by the end of this month. Let’s talk more about the device:

Motorola One Power as a whole

The new Motorola One Power packs a 6.2-inch Full-HD+ IPS LCD display with a 19:9 aspect ratio and a wide notch. This will Motorola’s first notch device that will be launched in India. It packs some great hardware in a sleek & elegant format.

For the horsepower, we have this year’s new addition by Qualcomm – the Snapdragon 636. Well, after the advent of Snapdragon 660 this processor has become old, but this Octa-core chipset can handle your daily loads easily.

Coming to the cameras, the Motorola One Power features a dual rear camera setup with a 16MP primary sensor and a secondary 5MP sensor. For the front camera, Motorola backs an 8MP sensor with a f/2.2 aperture.

As the name suggests, this will be an Android One device, that means it will receive the latest Android updates and security patches from Google. We have seen the deep bonding between Motorola and Google, so we can expect this smartphone to receive the new Android Pie among the very first mobile devices.

The device packs a 5,000mAh battery with support for the TurboPower charging technology. Motorola claims that this technology can provide you with 6 hours of battery life with a single charge.

The Motorola One Power will available in two variants, one with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, and the higher-end one packs 4GB of RAM coupled with 64GB of internal storage.

Price & Availability

The launch of the smartphone is set for September 24, wherein the company will fully reveal the smartphone. The Motorola One Power is priced at $349 globally which in Indian currency accounts Rs.25,400. So, you can expect this smartphone to be priced something near to Rs.25,000 or more in India.
