The upcoming Motorola Edge 40 Neo

Motorola recently launched the Edge 40 Neo 5G in the EMEA region, offering the top-end 12GB + 256GB model for approximately €399 (around ₹35,481). In terms of specifications, the Motorola Edge 40 Neo boasts a 6.55-inch Full HD+ P-OLED display with a resolution of 2400 × 1080 pixels. The display supports a 144 Hz refresh rate, offers 1300 nits peak brightness, and is HDR10+ certified. It’s protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and features an under-display fingerprint scanner.

Powering the device is the octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 7030 SoC, paired with a Mali-G610 MC1 GPU. Users can get up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of uMCP internal storage. The camera setup includes a 50MP primary camera with OIS, a 13MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and an LED flash on the rear. For selfies, video calls, and face unlock, there’s a 32MP front-facing camera.

The phone has a 5000mAh battery with support for 68W wired fast charging. It runs on Android 13 with Motorola’s custom MyUX layer and has an IP68 rating for protection against dust and water splashes. Surprisingly, despite its large battery, the Motorola Edge 40 Neo weighs only 172 grams.
