NFTs are changing the way we think about art, and investors have taken notice. NFTs have been at the forefront of the cryptocurrency arena for the past year. Artists have taken advantage of the possibility provided by NFTs to establish the scarcity of digital items in the real world.

The year 2021 has witnessed a tremendous increase in interest in NFTs, with Google searches for the term reaching all-time highs and NFT markets like as Nifty Gateway and OpenSea registering record trade volumes as everyone tries to learn more about this new asset class.

However, it isn’t just the level of curiosity that is rising. Individual NFTs are fetching astronomical prices, with artists such as Beeple making headlines for setting sales records. In light of this, we examine some of the most exorbitantly priced NFTs ever sold.
