The rumors even extended saying that some of the major Xbox franchises like Gears of War, Halo, Starfield, and even the upcoming Indiana Jones and Hi-Fi Rush will be coming on the rival gaming consoles or platforms.
Also, there were rumors saying that Xbox could be on the Sega route, and in the future, Xbox consoles will not be made. The story took a more confusing turn when a story surfaced online claiming that Starfield is coming to PlayStation.
Also, this was the same source from where the earlier rumors fueled up. These rumors were indeed disturbing both Xbox console users as well for employees. So, to assure them recently Xbox Head Phil Spencer announced an Xbox “business update” some days ago.

“We’re listening and we hear you”. We’ve been planning a business update event for next week, where we look forward to sharing more details with you about our vision for the future of Xbox. Stay tuned.”
So, one point that is very clear from this statement is that Xbox consoles are not going anywhere in the future. Microsoft will be working on Xbox consoles and in the future will introduce more Xbox gaming console generations.
However, for now, we don’t know what Xbox and Microsoft have in mind for future Xbox consoles. And saying something at this point is not appropriate as well.
Also, we have news that there was a meeting of Xbox employees where the Xbox head assured them there will be Xbox in the future. So, they don’t have to worry about the future of Xbox gaming consoles.
Here it will be noteworthy to mention that a few days back there were rumours that Xbox is going to launch two SKUs. One will be cost-efficient and the other will be luxurious. However, till now there has been no official statement from Xbox or Microsoft confirming the rumors.
