MONSTA X Makes Billboard History Again: “The Phase” Lands Their 5th Career Entry

MONSTA X just proved once more why they remain one of K-pop’s most consistent global chart performers. Their new EP “The Phase” has officially debuted on the Billboard 200, marking the group’s fifth career entry on the prestigious chart.

The Phase’s MONSTA X Billboard Chart Performance

A Milestone Five Albums in the Making

“The Phase” now becomes MONSTA X’s second Korean-language album to crack the Billboard 200, joining an impressive run that includes All About Luv, The Dreaming, THE X, and Unfold. Landing five separate albums on America’s most competitive chart is no small feat — it places the group among a select group of K-pop acts with genuine, repeated staying power in the U.S. market.

Strong Sales Beyond the Main Chart

The numbers outside the Billboard 200 are just as telling. Ranking at No. 7 on Top Album Sales means “The Phase” was the seventh best-selling album in the entire United States that week — a strong showing for a group that debuted back in 2015 and has weathered lineup changes, solo ventures, and evolving trends in the K-pop industry while still commanding this level of chart relevance.

Their re-entry into the Artist 100 at No. 61 adds another layer to the achievement, marking their seventh overall week on that chart and reinforcing that fan demand remains steady well past the initial release window.

Why This Matters for MONSTA X’s Legacy

For a group entering its second decade, five Billboard 200 entries is a rare marker of longevity in an industry known for short shelf lives. It signals that MONSTA X’s core fanbase, Monbebe, continues to show up in a big way — and that international interest in the group hasn’t slowed down.
