According to Raju, the first draft is already complete and currently undergoing revisions. He described the film’s tone as similar to Chotta Mumbai, a beloved commercial hit, emphasizing that a strong screenplay is essential when working with an actor of Mohanlal’s stature.

Director Krishand himself confirmed the project separately, telling The New Indian Express that it will be a realistic detective comedy, featuring Mohanlal alongside a sidekick character — a genre blend that plays to both the star’s comic timing and Krishand’s knack for grounded storytelling.
