One crime family war just ended in blood. Another one is about to begin. MobLand is back, and Season 2 is bringing Tom Hardy, Pierce Brosnan, and Helen Mirren right back into the chaos that made this show one of Paramount+’s biggest hits.

The British gang drama follows the Harrigan family’s brutal battle for survival, told through the eyes of their loyal fixer, Harry Da Souza (Hardy). Season 1 wiped out the rival Stevensons, but left the Harrigans more fractured than ever — and Season 2 promises the fallout will be even bloodier.

MobLand Season 2: Overview

Detail	Information
Premiere Date	Friday, September 18
Platform	Paramount+
Episodes	10, releasing weekly
Finale Date	November 20
Lead Cast	Tom Hardy, Pierce Brosnan, Helen Mirren

Where We Left Off

Season 1 ended with Conrad and Maeve Harrigan behind bars, a shocking paternity twist revealing Eddie is secretly Conrad’s son, and Kevin nursing serious resentment toward his father. Meanwhile, the mysterious Kat McAllister tried to turn Harry against the family — he refused, setting up major consequences ahead. To top it off, Harry’s own wife stabbed him in a moment of raw panic during the finale.

What’s Coming in Season 2

With the Stevensons gone, all signs point to Kat McAllister and her unknown network becoming the Harrigans’ next threat. Expect the family to step into a bigger, more dangerous underworld than before — and expect the messy internal power struggle between Eddie, Kevin, and Maeve to escalate right alongside it.

The Tom Hardy Drama Behind the Scenes

Season 2 wrapped filming in May 2026, but not without controversy. Reports surfaced that Hardy had a falling-out with the show’s creators, sparking rumors he was being pushed out after this season. Those reports were quickly walked back, and by late June, it was confirmed Hardy is set to return for Season 3 as well — so the drama, for now, stays safely on screen.

Catch Up Before Season 2 Drops

Paramount+ is making all of Season 1 free to stream throughout September — no subscription required — via the Paramount+ YouTube channel, making it easy to catch up before the new season hits.

Final Take

MobLand built its reputation on family betrayal, brutal power plays, and performances that feel almost Shakespearean. Season 2 looks ready to raise the stakes even higher — and with the cast fully intact, fans have every reason to be excited.
