Mission: Mompossible Premieres Today: Two Moms, One Messy Family and a Story About Finding Yourself

Every family has its chaos, but few dramas promise to turn it into a journey of self-discovery. KBS 1TV’s new weekday drama Mission: Mompossible premieres today, September 28, at 8:30 p.m. KST (5:00 p.m. IST), and its stars have been opening up about their roles.

The story centers on two very different mothers whose children’s lives become entangled. One has sacrificed everything for her family for years, while the other has lived solely for herself. Jung Min Ah calls it “a family story about finding yourself,” where the fun, chaotic surface hides a deeper story of characters rediscovering who they are.

Mission: Mompossible- Cast and Characters

What the Stars Revealed?

Jung Min Ah says she shares Da Mi’s positive outlook and determination. When trouble hits, she asks herself what she can do to fix it rather than dwelling on it.

Dong Ha shared that the director warned him early on that Seung Yoon will face immense emotional pain later in the story. His character is soft-hearted but guarded, sometimes speaking coldly to avoid getting attached, and Dong Ha plans to give the second half everything he has.

Kim Hee Jung promises scenes that feel like they come from your own life. Her Jo Mimi thought she had done a good job raising her kids, but life keeps sending new adversities her way.

Kang Kyung Hun prepared by building up her stamina, explaining that when physical energy runs out, focus starts to waver. She hopes viewers will enjoy watching how Jin Hee’s ambition plays out.

Why to Watch Mission: Mompossible?

If you enjoy warm, multigenerational family dramas on KBS 1TV, this one promises emotional depth beneath the humor. Kim Hee Jung’s latest drama, Pearl in Red, is streaming on Viki if you want a warm-up.
