The Xbox Series X is getting more and more popular these days as every gamer is eagerly waiting for the next-generation consoles in 2020. But until now all we have been informed is of the hardware, promotional info and few leaks, we haven’t actually seen the “real-time performance” of the console, it seems you do not have to wait long.
According to Microsoft’s tweet, the Xbox Series X will be set to act on the May 7th, 8 AM PT. Also, Microsoft has said that this will be centred around third party titles, not from its own Xbox Game Studios. Now, if Ubisoft Spain’s tweet is to be believed, then possibly the upcoming Assasins Creed: Valhalla could be seen in action on this new console.
An official trailer and gameplay is one of the most fundamental launches for any game, so it makes sense if its done through the most anticipated next-gen console. However, one thing will be interesting to notice if this happens is that how the game utilizes the powerful hardware that is being touted by Microsoft, will real-time ray tracing work? Can we get 4K gaming at 60 FPS?
Generally this type of gaming announcements happen in E3 but as this pandemic has affected every launch so hosting a separate event for mutual benefit seems the most viable option for both Microsoft and Ubisoft.
