Microsofts Surface Pro series is extremely famous among business model laptops, but the problem has always been with the upcoming models. Microsoft has a bad habit of updating bare minimum specifications in their next models of Surface Pro Series.
Another issue with the series has been their pricing and the company only offers a bare minimum of RAM with the device. No Microsoft, 4GB of RAM is not enough. But with the release of its new and upcoming Surface Pro 8, Microsoft seems to be addressing the several issues which we have with the Surface Pro series. Or at least that’s what the rumors suggest.
According to a report by WinFuture.de, Microsoft Surface Pro 8 should make the entry-level model more attractive and will bring more RAM into play. Earlier, it was leaked that the new laptop from Microsoft will Core i5 and Core i7 variants. But now it is also being suggested that a new Core i3 variant will also be made available and it will carry 8 GB of RAM. I was expecting an AMD processor though.
It’s not clear whether Microsoft will offer any more additional features with its base variant of Surface Pro 8, but at least giving 8 GB as a choice is sufficient for users to get the most out of their new Surface laptop. According to reports, the base variant will come with 128 GB of storage also, and the series is set to debut in January 2021.
