Microsoft made some headlines in the world when they originally announced the cheapest Surface Laptop in the world in 2020. Now, after months of launch, it is finally here in India, but it is not that cheap; when it starts at $549 in the US, here in India, it has a starting price of ₹ 63,499.

This is actually quite expensive when you know the base variant comes with only 4GB RAM and 64GB eMMC storage. Still, this is what it is, as we know most of these Surface Laptops are insanely priced in India due to taxes and other factors.

While at this price you are better off with other alternatives from ASUS, Acer, HP, Lenovo, and others, still if you need a quality laptop, the Surface Laptop Go will not disappoint you. It comes with a 12.4-inch display and runs on 1536 x 1024 resolution, sporting a 3:2 aspect ratio.

The Surface Laptop Go comes powered with Intel’s 10th Generation Core i5 1035G1 processors. It can be upgraded up to 16GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of storage. The laptop’s base variant comes with only 4GB of RAM and 64GB of eMMC storage.

The device is reported to have up to 13 hours of battery life on a single charge. The device’s fast-charging feature quickly charges the battery up to 80% in just one hour. Other features of the device include a 720p webcam, Studio Mics, Omnisonic speakers with Dolby Audio Tuning.

The Surface Laptop Go also comes with a fingerprint scanner built into the power button for Windows Hello biometric authentication. It will also support one-touch sign-in for other Microsoft services like OneDrive Personal Vault. Overall, this is a handy machine, a good choice for Surface Laptop lovers and professionals.
