Microsoft has announced its fall hardware event on the 22nd of September, we can expect the tech giant to launch a successor the Surface Duo along with a new Surface laptop.
Although the original Surface Duo received mixed reviews, the next version will probably fix all the issues that the previous models had. The Surface Duo 2 is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 888 SoC as per the details revealed by the GeekBench listing.
The Surface Duo 2 will pack about 8GB of RAM, coming to the software aspect of the device, it will run on Android 11 OS out-of-the-box. The upcoming Surface Duo 2 will have a camera that will use machine learning and artificial intelligence to offer the best camera experience, this will also improve image processing.
The Surface Duo 2 is also rumored to feature 5G support along with support for NFC as well.
The Microsoft Surface Duo 2 is the company’s Android-powered foldable phone, the first model, the Surface Duo received rave reviews, Microsoft is looking to redeem itself with its successor.
