Microsoft has launched its Surface Duo back in September this year. Today a piece of news has just come out regarding the retail price of this Microsoft device that the 128GB variant of the Surface Duo is now carrying a price tag of $1,199 instead of the previous pricing of $1,399. Not only this but also the price of the 256GB variant has also trimmed down $200 to make it $1,299. But we have no information on how long these offers will carry their validity. Let’s just call out some of the specifications of the Microsoft Surface Duo.
The Microsoft Surface Duo features an 8.1″ AMOLED folding display with (1800×2700) pixels of screen resolution for 401 PPI density. Both sides of the phone are protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The folded position display features a 5.6″ AMOLED display with (1350×1800) pixels of screen resolution and a 4:3 screen ratio.
The phone is powered by Octa-Core Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 855 Chipset with Adreno 640 GPU. The phone runs on Android 10. This foldable device has two types of storage configurations – 128GB and 256GB, and both have the same RAM support of 6GB. The device houses a 3577mAh non-removable Li-Po battery with 18W of fast charging support.
Now enlighten the camera of the device, the phone features 11MP single sensor with an f/2.0 lens. The device supports 4K video recording and the phone also has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
The Microsoft Surface Duo has a single Nano-SIM slot and also supports eSIM functionality. The other connectivity options include dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/A-GPS, 3.5mm earphone jack, and a USB Type-C port for charging & data transfer. The onboard sensors of the phone include an accelerometer and proximity sensor.
