Gaming in a dark room enhances the enjoyment to the next level. Some gamers also sit with the games till late at night, either on PC or on consoles. The problem is – in a low light environment, you can’t control the lights coming out from the devices. And the blue lights can affect your sleep habits. If you are an Xbox user, the good news is on its way as Microsoft addressed this problem already and currently cooking a new night mode. It is available to beta users.
The new Alpha Skin-Ahead ring allows Xbox users to deal with the blue-light emission from the screens by dimming the light and/or filtration process. Not only the screen but users will also be able to do the same with the console and controller lights. That means the LED brightness of the console and controller is also in the user’s hands. Altogether, a better and improved night gaming experience is coming to the Xbox users.
Besides all these, users can schedule the night mode as all. All the filters and light dimming will be applied automatically with the sunset and go off with sunrise. For now, the localization of this feature is the main challenge, and the Microsoft team is working on it. At present, it is only available in English.
