Micromax has made a return in the Indian smartphone market with the launch of yet another device, the latest offering from the brand is the Micromax IN 2C. The device is a successor to the Micromax IN 2B, as per the latest report, the brand will launch the IN 2c on the 26th of April in India.
The support page on Flipkart has gone live for the Micromax IN 2c, this reveals a couple of details and specifications of the device.
Micromax IN 2c specifications:
The Micromax IN 2c will feature a 6.52″ LCD HD+ display that offers a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels with an aspect ratio of 20:9. It has a peak brightness of 420 nits. In the optics department, the IN 2c features a dual-camera setup on the rear with an 8MP primary sensor and a VGA sensor.
On the front, it has a 5MP selfie shooter. The device is powered by the Unisoc T610 SoC, this is the same sensor that powered the Micromax IN 2b.
The device arrives with up to 6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage, Micromax has given an option to expand the memory of the device via a microSD card. It packs a 5,000mAh battery with support for 10W charging. It runs on Android 11 OS.
The Micromax IN 2c has a USB Type-C port and a 3.5mm audio jack. It does not feature a fingerprint sensor which comes as a bit of a surprise considering it is a staple feature on nearly every device. In terms of pricing, we can expect the device to retail below 10,000 INR.
Micromax is looking to bite into the market share of other brands that make devices under the 10,000 INR mark, it is yet to be seen how the latest device will fare in the market.
