A prominent diamond mesh grille will replace the current trapezoidal studded grille as one of the primary modifications for the 2023 Hector facelift. Hector already has a commanding street presence, which will be accentuated by this new premium, royal-looking grille.
The top-mounted LED DRLs appear to be the same, while the headlamps and front bumper have been significantly adjusted. The side and back profiles haven’t been changed significantly. MG’s i-Smart connectivity platform will likely get a few additional capabilities. It is possible to expand voice and Hinglish commands. Hector currently knows more than 100 voice commands as well as more than 35 Hinglish instructions. Voice assistance for regional languages is an additional function that is useful in a multilingual nation like India. This function is now available on Hyundai’s BlueLink communication system.
Hector’s redesign in 2023 is anticipated to include ADAS technologies with an emphasis on increased safety. There were rumors that MG may provide an automatic transmission with the diesel engine, however, MG has clarified that the diesel AT Hector will not be released.
