Messi’s father is already in talks with Manchester City

The world football is stunned, Barca fans are crying, Lionel Messi is close to leaving Barcelona forever

Yes, the thing which a lot of people had been fearing has ultimately happened. Messi is all set to leave the Blaugranas forever. Everyone knows the fact that Messi has sent a burofax to the club to leave on Monday and to that, almost all heavyweight football clubs are ready to pounce on Messi.

The Argentine striker, who promised to never leave the club has taken an irreversible decision to leave Barcelona and the club where he spent almost 20 years of his life. Currently, affording Messi is not a joke and there are big European clubs who have such power like Manchester City, PSG, Inter and others.

Barca skipper’s father has taken this even further, as MD points out, both TyC from Argentina and RAC1 from Barcelona did agree yesterday that Jorge Messi is already in contact with the City Group leaders.

Not only that, but both the father of Messi and Ferran Soriano could also be traveling to Barcelona next week to accelerate the negotiations. They even want to sit down to talk with Barça and resolve the issue of the ‘free transfer’ clause.

The culprit behind all of this, Bartomeu and his board are silent to this and they are faking the fact that they want to keep Messi. Although the fact is they want to get rid of the best footballer in the world to revive their finances.

It is even said that there could be a bargain taking place between both the clubs to exchange players like Eric Garcia or Angeliño in the deal. Yesterday there was even speculation to use Gabriel Jesús in the deal.

This is a ridiculous thing going on at the Camp Nou offices and people have gone crazy protesting against the authority who are the root cause of this and are letting to leave Messi.

Manchester City has the necessary finances to afford Messi and then there are a lot of known directors who worked with Pep Guardiola at the time in Barcelona. So, Messi has a lot of known faces there to makes things much easier.

As we mentioned in our previous article, according to Catalunya Ràdio, last week Messi called his Pep to inform him about the current situation and find out the possibilities to end up landing in Manchester. Although Guardiola wished Messi to end his career at Barcelona, but would never rule out the possibilities of having him play at the Etihad stadium.

Considering the power of the City Football Group that owns Manchester City, you can never rule out the fact they will fight to bring Leo and Pep together to win their dream Champions League. ESPN even said about a three-season contract in Manchester plus another two optional ones in New York City.

Also, it went on to say that one of Messi’s conditions is that Guardiola renews for the same seasons that he signs for. The Spanish coach has a contract until 2021, however, Manchester City has already started talks to extend Pep’s contract. So, as for now, Messi’s most favorable destination is Manchester City.

Messi wants to win everything, that’s why he has been demanding a winning project at Barcelona but however, the terrible decisions from Bartomeu and his board have wasted some of the glorious years of his football life.

Last season was the first-ever season for Barcelona and Messi when they won nothing, this has ultimately hurt the Argentine who is determined to leave Catalunya and make a move to England to reunite with Pep to win the Champions League.
