Messi feels it’s horrible to play at empty stadiums in his interview with La Sexta’s Jordi Evole

Life after COVID-19 pandemic has really affected everything in the world and obviously has affected each and every kind of sports including football. Players now play in empty stadiums and although it looks absurd but there’s no option.

Players like Lionel Messi also does miss the crowd and the passion they bring to the game, he has opened up recently regarding this at the interview with Jordi Evole:

Evole: Who do you find playing at empty stadiums?

Messi: It’s horrible…it’s cold …strange and different …. I think that may have something to do with strange results that we’re seeing with home advantage being less important.

Obviously, its a major miss for both fans and players like Messi as well, we hope in the coming year 2021, things become better.
