Max Verstappen wins Bahrain GP 2024 to perfectly start title defence

Max Verstappen successfully defended his title at the Bahrain GP 2024, marking a triumphant start to the Formula 1 (F1) season for the Red Bull Racing Team. The thrilling race unfolded at the Bahrain International Circuit on Saturday, March 2.

Verstappen’s fellow Dutchman, Sergio Perez, secured a commendable second-place finish, adding to Red Bull’s strong showing. Carlos Sainz of Ferrari clinched the third spot on the podium, rounding off an impressive performance for the Italian team in the season opener. Despite grappling with car issues throughout the race, Charles Leclerc managed to secure fourth place for Ferrari, with George Russell driving for Mercedes closely following behind.
