Master the Major’s Footlocker Quest in ARC Raiders: Complete Walkthrough

Finding Major Aiva’s cherished mementos isn’t just another task in ARC Raiders—it’s a journey through the remnants of a warrior’s past. The Major’s Footlocker quest challenges players to navigate the Ruby Residence and recover precious items that tell a story of sacrifice and memory. Here’s your definitive guide to completing this emotional mission efficiently.

ARC Raiders Quest Overview

Step-by-Step Mission Walkthrough

1. Navigate to Ruby Residence

Your first stop is the Ruby Residence, Major Aiva’s former home. This residential area serves as the primary location for this quest, and getting familiar with its layout will save you valuable time. The residence features multiple buildings, but your target is specific—the leftmost structure in the compound.

As you approach the area, keep an eye out for potential threats. While this quest focuses on exploration rather than combat, ARC Raiders can throw unexpected encounters your way. Scout the perimeter before committing to entering the building.

2. Climb to the Top Floor

Once inside the leftmost building, begin your ascent to the topmost accessible floor. It’s crucial to note that you’re not heading to the roof—stop at the highest interior floor of the building. This distinction is important, as many players mistakenly climb too high and miss the objective entirely.

The climb itself is straightforward, but watch your stamina gauge if you’re carrying heavy equipment. ARC Raiders’ movement mechanics require careful resource management, especially in multi-story structures where fall damage can derail your mission.

3. Locate the Memorial Room

The room you’re searching for has a distinctive feature: a large square window overlooking the surrounding foliage. This scenic vista provides natural lighting to what appears to be a personal space filled with memories. The atmosphere here is deliberately poignant—Embark Studios clearly designed this area to tell a story without words.

Scan the room carefully until you spot a table positioned directly in front of the window. This isn’t just decorative furniture; it’s the key to completing your objective.

4. Collect Major Aiva’s Memento

On the table, you’ll find the memento you’ve been searching for. Interact with it to add it to your inventory. These personal items represent fragments of Major Aiva’s life before the chaos that consumed the world of ARC Raiders, making this more than just a fetch quest—it’s a narrative experience.

For players interested in the game’s deeper lore, this quest connects to broader storylines about the world of ARC Raiders and its characters. Pay attention to environmental storytelling as you complete these missions.

5. Extract and Deliver

With the memento secured, your next objective is extraction. Navigate to the extraction point and successfully leave the area. Timing is critical here—don’t linger unnecessarily, as hostile forces could complicate your exit.

Once you’ve extracted, return to your home base and deliver the memento. The quest automatically completes upon delivery, rewarding you with experience and progression toward unlocking additional content.

Pro Tips for Efficient Completion

Scout Before Entering: Always survey the Ruby Residence from a distance before approaching. Understanding enemy patrol patterns saves time and resources.

Travel Light: This quest doesn’t require heavy weaponry. Consider bringing minimal gear to maximize mobility during your climb and extraction.

Mark Your Map: Use your in-game markers to identify the leftmost building before entering the compound. This prevents confusion if you need to retreat and re-approach.

Time Your Run: If playing during peak server hours, consider completing this quest during quieter periods to avoid PvP interference during extraction.

Why This Quest Matters

Beyond the immediate rewards, Major’s Footlocker serves as an introduction to ARC Raiders’ quest design philosophy. The game balances action with exploration and narrative, rewarding players who engage with the world beyond simple combat encounters. Understanding this quest structure prepares you for more complex missions ahead.
