Here in this article, we will be talking about Marvel’s Spider–Man 2 PC WIP leak. So, without any further delays, let’s dive in.

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 PC WIP Leaked

It was just two weeks ago that Insomniac Games, which is based in Burbank and has a history spanning 30 years, became the target of a ransomware attack. Behind the attack were the members of the Rhysida group, who managed to extract a huge chunk of data.

As an estimate, the hackers extracted around 1.67 terabytes, which is a pretty good amount of data. Then they asked the gaming studio to pay $2 million in bitcoin; otherwise, they would leak all the data on the Web.

However, Insomniac Games, well known for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, refused to pay the ransom amount. Soon, the leaks started to spread on online platforms. First, the hackers leaked screenshots and information on the upcoming Marvel’s Wolverine project.

But the hackers didn’t stop there, and after this, they released Insomniac’s entire roadmap. According to reports, the roadmap belongs to a July document that has information on the standalone Venom game.

It is likely that it will be in the vein and size of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2: Miles Morales and is due to release in the fall of 2025. Well, this leak is especially important for the fans of Venom.

The other upcoming game to be released is Wolverine, which is going to be launched in the fall of 2026. And Marvel’s Spider-Man 3 will be waiting for launch in fall 2028.

With these similar names, games with new names are also going to be released by the gaming studio in the upcoming years. One of them is the Ratchet & Clack game scheduled to launch in fall 2029, approximately 8 years after Rift Apart.

And finally, there is Marvel’s X–Men scheduled to be released in Fall 2030. From this roadmap, one thing is pretty much clear: after the huge success of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, Insomniac is focusing on Marvel games.

Except for the Ratchet & Clack game, all other games going to be released are by Marvel. Although it was the case back in July too, now, after the success of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, the gaming studio is more bent on Marvel games.
