Just when fans thought the wait might drag on, NCT WISH surprised everyone with a fresh comeback announcement. On September 14, the group confirmed the details for their return, giving fans an exact date to circle and a brand-new trailer to dissect frame by frame.
The Comeback Details
NCT WISH will release their fourth mini album, titled “I SPY,” on October 12 at 6 p.m. KST. Alongside the announcement, the group dropped a comeback trailer and a teaser image, both leaning into a playful, mystery-tinged concept that hints at a different tone from their previous releases. The trailer has already sparked plenty of speculation among fans about the album’s overall theme and title track direction.
Why This Comeback Matters
As a relatively newer addition to the NCT family, NCT WISH has been steadily building momentum with each release, and a fourth mini album marks a meaningful milestone in their still-young discography. Every comeback so far has helped the group carve out its own identity within the wider NCT universe, and “I SPY” appears to be positioned as another step in that evolution — moving beyond a debut-era sound into something more distinct.
