Mario+Rabbids: Sparks of Hope will arrive in 2022 probably on Switch successor

Everyone who plays games knows how legendary Mario is and we loved playing as his character when we were kids and we still love him right now. And for all the fans of the red guy out there, we have some good news for everyone.

The much-awaited sequel to the Mario and Rabbids crossover turn-based strategy game, Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle, is finally announced. the sequel is named the Nintendo Switch: Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope.

The studio behind the game, Ubisoft, revealed both a new cinematic trailer and a sneak peek at some gameplay on Saturday. The game even received an official launch date and will come in sometime in 2022. The official announcement at Ubisoft Forward followed a leak hours before on Nintendo’s online store.

Nintendo originally announced the first game, Mario + Rabbids title, Kingdom Battle, at Ubisoft’s press conference at E3 2017. And the game turned out to be one of the best early games to come on Nintendo Switch. It mixed the elements from the Mario and Rabbids characters with solid yet accessible X-COM-style tactical action. People often call it “a shockingly good Nintendo Switch strategy game.”

Its well within expectations that a good game will indeed receive a sequel and also that the company was planning this for a long time. With the rumors surrounding the successor of Nintendo Switch, the Nintendo Switch Pro in the works, we are expecting that the game will arrive on the new console.
