While other releases this week are struggling to find their footing, Mandaadi is doing exactly the opposite — growing stronger by the day. Soori and Suhas’s sports action drama has turned into a genuine box office phenomenon, and the numbers only keep getting better.

Why Mandaadi Is Winning

Most of the film’s business has come from its home turf of Tamil Nadu, where positive word-of-mouth has fueled repeat growth rather than a decline — a rare and healthy trend for a new release. The film also stars Mahima Nambiar, Sathyaraj, Krish Hassan, Mithun Jai Sankar, Ravindra Vijay, and Bala Saravanan, with music by GV Prakash Kumar adding to its mass appeal.
