Manchester City take on Arsenal in one of the most awaited matches of the current season. With 22 games played, this could be an early title decider if Mikel Arteta can defeat his former mentor.

On the other hand, Pep Guardiola could bring his side right back into the race for the Premier League title with a win. But it will not be easy considering the form that the North London side has shown throughout this season.

Thomas Partey has been ruled out of the fixture for Arsenal due to injury, which will be a big blow. However, Jorginho could step up in midfield for his new club.

Arsenal last beat Man City in the league in December 2015.

Manchester City will have the services of Erling Haaland, who has been cleared for the match. The Norwegian came off early in their recent win over Aston Villa, amidst speculation that he was injured. However, the team decided simply not to risk him for the big game ahead. And he is expected to lead the line as he has been doing for the majority of the season.

City have been quite patchy this season, which is quite unusual considering how dominant they have been in recent years. On the other hand, Arsenal have also slipped up in the last few weeks with a defeat and a draw.

Regardless of the constraints that surround the battle, it promises to be an entertaining and tense clash between two of the best in the division this year. And it could prove to be the game that decides the Premier League title very early.
