Awards season in K-pop isn’t only about the winners. The presenters often steal the spotlight too. On October 22, it has been reported that the 2026 MAMA Awards has revealed its presenter lineup, and it’s a crossover of actors, athletes, dancers and idols.

Why This Lineup Stands Out?
The range is the story. You’ll see well-known drama stars, a famous athlete, a dancer, singers and actors from Korea and Japan on the same stage. That blend gives the ceremony a broader pull, drawing in drama fans as well as K-pop followers.
It also means plenty of reunion moments. If you’ve followed a drama this year, there’s a good chance one of its leads is on this list. For example, Kim You Jung and Hwang Minhyun both have dramas on Viki that fans can watch while waiting for the show.
What to Watch For?
Soompi notes that the nominees and the first performing artists were announced earlier, so the picture of the ceremony is filling out quickly. With two nights at one of Osaka’s biggest venues, expect a packed schedule. For background on the awards, see Mnet Asian Music Awards on Wikipedia.
