Luis Enrique Becomes PSG’s Most Successful Manager with 127 Wins

Luis Enrique has become the manager with the most wins in Paris Saint-Germain’s history. The Spaniard reached his 127th victory in charge of the club on Friday, 30 October 2026, when PSG beat Le Havre 5-1 at the Stade Océane in Normandy. The result moved him past Laurent Blanc, who had 126 wins, and it put him at the top of the club’s all-time list.

The milestone came in only his fourth season in charge. Luis Enrique took over at the club in July 2023, and his record since then has been among the most successful in PSG’s history.

The Win That Made History

Achraf Hakimi scored the first hat trick of his career in the win and added two assists. PSG’s victory was their ninth in a row in all competitions and their sixth successive league win. The result also lifted the club to the top of Ligue 1 standings.

Luis Enrique told PSG TV that he felt lucky to manage a club of this level and to have incredible players. He said he was very happy and hoped to continue making history in Paris.

The Path to the Record

Luis Enrique had been level with Blanc on 126 wins after PSG’s 2-0 home win over Lyon on Monday, 26 October. His 127th win in Le Havre took him clear of the former coach. Luis Fernandez, who had 125 wins, sits third in the club’s list.

Trophies and Achievements

Luis Enrique has built a strong trophy record at PSG. According to reports, he has won 13 trophies with the club. Those include three Ligue 1 titles and two Champions League titles, alongside other domestic and European honours.

The Champions League success is especially significant. PSG took their first title in the competition under his management and then retained it, a feat that has earned him a place among the club’s most important figures.

A Winning Run Continues

PSG’s form under Luis Enrique has been strong this season. The nine-game winning run across all competitions has included Champions League matches, and the team has been at the top of Ligue 1 with 20 points.

The current run has added momentum to the coach’s milestone. A club that wins consistently is well placed to challenge in both domestic and European competitions.

Why the Record Matters

Records of this kind reflect consistency over time. A manager’s win total depends on the length of his tenure, the quality of the squad and the ability to maintain results across many seasons. Luis Enrique’s achievement shows that he has delivered results at a sustained level for PSG.

The record also places him ahead of several celebrated figures in the club’s history, including Blanc, who is a former France international and World Cup winner with Les Bleus.

What Comes Next

Luis Enrique can continue to extend his record as PSG pursue titles on several fronts this season. The club’s ambitions remain high, with domestic and European trophies on the agenda.

For PSG, the milestone is a reminder of the stability and success the club has enjoyed under the Spaniard. The next chapter will test whether that level of performance can be maintained.
