What Changed from G304/G305?
The most significant upgrade swaps the AA battery system for a rechargeable 290mAh lithium-ion battery, slashing weight from 99g to 57g—a massive 42% reduction. Logitech also redesigned the internal layout for better weight distribution and centered balance, improving control during fast-paced gaming sessions.
The Hero 25K sensor now offers sensitivity up to 25,600 DPI (previously 12,000 DPI) with zero smoothing, acceleration, or filtering. Updated Lightspeed 2.4GHz wireless technology delivers improved latency and interference resistance for crowded wireless environments.
Dual-Mode Connectivity
The G304 X Lightspeed supports both wireless and wired modes—connect via the ultra-fast Lightspeed 2.4GHz USB receiver for lag-free performance, or switch to USB-C wired mode while charging. This flexibility ensures you never stop gaming, even when battery runs low.
Built for Competitive Gaming
With a 1000Hz polling rate delivering 1ms response time, the G304X matches performance of premium gaming mice at a fraction of the cost. PTFE feet provide smooth gliding, while switches rated for 20 million clicks ensure long-term durability.
The symmetric design works for both left and right-handed gamers, while Logitech G Hub software enables custom DPI profiles, button programming, and battery monitoring.
Pricing & Availability
Currently available in China with global rollout expected early 2026. Pricing hasn’t been announced for international markets, though the original G304/G305 typically retails around ₹3,500-4,500 in India, so expect similar or slightly higher pricing for the upgraded X model.
