Lock Upp 2: Sparks Fly as Akanksha Calls Gaurav a “Stranger” and Shivangi Explodes at Shilpa

Akanksha’s cold response to Gaurav’s visit: When fellow contestant Dheeraj Dhoopar got an emotional meeting with his wife Vinny Arora, it stirred up unexpected feelings for Akanksha Chamola. Talking to Shilpa Shinde and Shreya Kalra, she admitted she’d rather have had her parents — or even her pet dog — visit instead of her estranged husband, Gaurav Khanna, whom she now refers to as practically a stranger. Their strained equation has been a talking point since the season began, and this remark has only fueled more chatter about where things stand between them.

Shivangi’s fiery clapback at Shilpa: Meanwhile, tension between Shivangi Joshi and Shilpa Shinde finally boiled over. Wildcard entrant Apoorva Mukhija allegedly told Shivangi that Shilpa and Shreya had been mocking her and spreading rumors about her personal life behind her back. Furious, Shivangi confronted Shilpa directly, telling her bluntly that her lack of manners was the reason work had dried up for her. The clash has become one of the season’s sharpest confrontations so far.

The show continues to thrive on real, unscripted conflict — a format popularized by shows like Big Brother, whose format Lock Upp draws inspiration from (Wikipedia).
