Lioness Season 3 Roars on Paramount: Premiere Hits 7.1 Million Viewers in First Seven Days

Taylor Sheridan has done it again. The highly anticipated return of his hit espionage thriller has shattered its own records. According to internal data from Paramount, the Season 3 premiere of Lioness hit 7.1 million viewers in its first seven days of streaming. The action-packed drama, starring Zoe Saldaña and Nicole Kidman, is proving that its audience is only growing larger and more invested with each new mission.

Paramount+ debuted the first episode of the third season on August 2, 2026, and the rapid accumulation of viewers easily eclipsed the viewership numbers from previous seasons. This monumental achievement cements Lioness as one of the platform’s most vital and popular original series.

A Massive Jump in Viewership

The seven-day window has become a standard metric for measuring streaming success, and the Lioness Season 3 debut passed the test with flying colors. The 7.1 million viewer milestone is a significant step up from the Season 2 premiere in 2024, which brought in roughly 3 million domestic households during its first week.

Even more impressive is the show’s dominance across the broader streaming landscape. Preliminary data from Nielsen indicated that Lioness was the second-most-watched streaming original series in the United States during the week of August 2 to August 8, 2026.
