LG just revived an icon at CES 2026. The OLED evo W6 Wallpaper TV marks the triumphant return of ultra-thin television design, discontinued since 2020. At just 9mm thick—thinner than a pencil eraser—this wireless marvel combines breakthrough Hyper Radiant Color Technology with Zero Connect Box wireless transmission up to 32 feet away.
LG OLED evo W6: Wallpaper Design Meets Wireless Freedom
The original Wallpaper TV required a companion soundbar housing all ports and electronics. The W6 eliminates this compromise through LG’s Zero Connect Box, which wirelessly transmits signals while housing HDMI and USB inputs up to 10 meters away. Only a single power cable connects to the display itself—perfect for flush wall mounting with zero visible wires.
This redesign makes the W6 9mm thick compared to the original’s impossibly thin 2.6mm, but the trade-off delivers true wireless convenience. The flush wall mount creates zero gap between display and wall, while the near bezel-free design allows the TV to disappear into its environment like actual wallpaper.

Hyper Radiant Color: Brightness Revolution
The W6 introduces Hyper Radiant Color Technology achieving peak brightness around 3,300 nits—nearly 4x brighter than conventional OLED panels. The Brightness Booster Ultra feature delivers deeper blacks, improved colors, and exceptional brightness while maintaining OLED’s perfect black levels verified by UL at ≤0.24 nit.
LG designed a certified “Reflection Free Premium” screen coating specifically for the Wallpaper TV, reducing reflections and glare for superior daytime viewing in bright rooms. This addresses OLED’s traditional weakness without compromising contrast or color accuracy.
Gaming performance receives major upgrades with 4K 165Hz refresh rate, 0.1ms pixel response time, NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible, and AMD FreeSync Premium support—ideal for competitive gaming. Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM) ensures responsive gameplay automatically.
The AI experience includes Google Gemini and Microsoft Copilot integration plus Voice ID recognition that switches to personalized home screens based on who’s speaking. The Gallery+ feature displays screensaver visuals, personal photos, or AI-generated images when not watching content. For comprehensive TV reviews and gaming display comparisons, visit TechnoSports.
Official pricing remains undisclosed, but expect premium positioning. Available exclusively in 77-inch and 83-inch sizes, the W6 targets design-conscious buyers seeking the ultimate minimalist home theater. Learn more at LG’s official site.
