Three new monitors from LG have been introduced to the UltraGear gaming lineup. The LG UltraGear GR83Q-B (27-inch model) and the LG UltraGear GR93U-B (27- and 32-inch variants) are the new gaming monitors. The specifications are adequate rather than extraordinary, with all three models supporting up to 95% DCI-P3 colour and VESA DisplayHDR 400. As gaming monitors, they all have refresh rates of 144 Hz or above, support desirable technologies such as AMD FreeSync Premium, and are Nvidia G-Sync compatible. The LG UltraGear GR83Q-B is a QHD gaming display that only comes in 27-inch sizes, whereas the LG UltraGear GR93U-B is a UHD monitor that comes in both 27-inch and 32-inch sizes.

LG’s latest UltraGears avoid the ultra-wide and/or curved display trends, which may appeal to those who are put off by these design choices. However, considering the fixed reduced prices and these monitors perform well, they could become one of the best monitors in the market.
