Max Verstappen is untouchable at Red Bull, and he has an existing long-term contract with things being fine at his end. That’s the reason the rumors regarding his future are nil.
But the news with Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc isn’t great. That’s the reason speculations are on about their future.
Ferrari might have an alluring offer to sign Lewis Hamilton
Reports from Daily Mail predict a move of Lewis Hamilton that seems a little far considering the current stage. They suggest Ferrari is thinking of ways to lure the former champion to their team, and the plan has a mega offer that could be difficult for the star driver to reject.
It’s been a long time since Hamilton won a race since the Saudi Arabian GP in 2021. Things aren’t great with him this year either, as Mercedes have failed yet again in car design.
The W14 is not a car that can defeat the Red Bulls. Even Fernando Alonso’s AMR23 currently stands superior.
Hamilton’s dream of an eight crown
Hamilton is now fourth with 56 points and is out of contract with Mercedes this year.
The 38-year-old English driver, with 103 wins, 192 podiums, and 103 pole positions, is running out of time to achieve that, and the eighth world championship would take him one ahead of Michael Schumacher.
To achieve that, he needs a great car that Mercedes isn’t providing right now. Ferrari might not be the solution either, but Scuderia might be interested in offering him a contract of close to 40 million pounds to swap Brackley for Maranello in 2024, as reports suggest.
It feels a bit unlikely that Hamilton would be moving out from Mercedes, that being the team he has risen to prominence.
