The axe is strategically placed above a door near the top of the structure, requiring parkour skills to reach. This location fits perfectly with Dying Light’s emphasis on vertical exploration and climbing mechanics.

Step-by-Step Collection Guide

Phase 1: Reaching the Resort

Travel to the National Park region in the D5 map section
Locate the large Misty Forest Resort building
Prepare for climbing – ensure full stamina for the parkour sequence

Phase 2: Climbing Strategy You cannot access it from inside the building, so you’ll need to climb up from the outside. Stand in front of the resort, then move to the right side, where you can climb up the wall.

Position yourself in front of the resort
Move to the right side of the building
Begin climbing the exterior wall
Reach the first platform successfully

Phase 3: Advanced Parkour Once on the first platform, climb the fence and jump to the next platform to reach the roof.

Scale the fence from the first platform
Execute precise jumps between platforms
Navigate to the roof area carefully

Phase 4: Final Collection From there, move across the roof to the back of the resort, where you’ll find a balcony. Climb onto it, and just above the door, you’ll see the axe placed horizontally.

Cross the roof to the back section
Locate the balcony area
Jump onto the balcony fence to reach the axe position
Collect the Ciupaga from above the door

Weapon Mechanics and Limitations

This legendary one-handed axe, Ciupaga, functions much like Kratos’ Leviathan Axe, allowing you to throw it at zombies and recall it back. However, each throw consumes stamina, and the axe has limited durability with no option to repair it.

Key Features:

Recall Ability: Press the designated button to summon the axe back after throwing
Frost Damage: Likely deals ice-based damage similar to its God of War counterpart
Stamina Management: Strategic throwing required due to stamina costs
Limited Use: No repair options make conservation essential

Strategic Usage Tips

Because of this, you should use this weapon only when needed rather than as a primary weapon.

Best Use Cases:

Boss encounters where maximum damage is crucial
Situations requiring ranged attacks with guaranteed retrieval
Special zombie types that benefit from the axe’s unique properties
Emergency situations where other weapons have broken

Conservation Strategy:

Reserve for challenging encounters
Use standard weapons for regular zombies
Monitor durability carefully during combat
Consider it a specialty tool rather than primary equipment
