Lenovo is one of the market leaders in the case of tablets and laptops. Apart from these, there are also smartphones as well as other electronic devices. Last year, the company came with Google’s voice assistant enabled Smart Alarm Clock and now announced its next version called “Smart Clock Essential”.
Lenovo, in the announcement statement, wrote, “Building on the Lenovo Smart Clock for the bedroom, the Lenovo Smart Clock Essential extends the same hands-free, time-saving convenience to the rest of the home, offering full voice support with Google Assistant,”
The only notable change in the new version is the addition of a 4″ LED display panel instead of IPS LCD, and also the absence of touch control support. Due to the LED panel display output become better while displaying current weather, temperature, day, and scheduled alarm notifications. The screen automatically dimmed at night.
There is a 3W 1.5″ speaker added for audio interactions. As the company added Google’s voice assistant support users can also use it as a smart speaker. Lastly, a USB port is given through which one can charge other electronic devices like mobile phones, wireless earphones, and more.
As per Lenovo, the new Smart Clock Essential will come to the market this month, but no exact date has announced. The pricing will start from $49.99.
