Lenovo has introduced the Lenovo Legion Go, an entry-level Windows-powered handheld gaming device. The device is expected to compete with the newly released Asus ROG Ally and Valve Steam Deck. According to recent online reports, the gadget will be equipped with an AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme APU and 16GB of LPDDR5-7500 RAM.
Lenovo will now include this Z1 series in its handheld gadget, which will almost certainly guarantee its performance.
The report also indicates that the device will have 16GB of LPDDR5-7500 RAM as well as two storage options: 256GB and 512GB M.2 2242 NVMe. Finally, the device is believed to have a display resolution of 2560 x 1600.
The AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme processor is utilised in handheld gaming consoles. JayzTwoCents recently tested the ROG Ally’s performance and discovered that games like Cyberpunk, Shadow of Tomb Rider, and Forza Horizon 5 ran at around 60FPS in 720p turbo mode with FSR enabled (AMD’s equivalent to DLSS).
The leaked Lenovo Legion Go design images are very impressive. On each side of the device, there are bumper and trigger buttons. On the top, there is a volume button for adjusting the game’s sound and a 3.5mm Combo Audio connector.
