Heroes and Villains Revealed
The Game Awards trailer introduced five playable heroes—Batman, Robin with line launcher, Nightwing with battle staff, Batgirl wielding hackarang, and Catwoman with whip and kitten companion. Each features unique abilities, progression trees, combos, and gadgets for varied combat styles.
Villains include Two-Face, Poison Ivy, Firefly, Mr. Freeze, The Joker, The Penguin, Ra’s al Ghul, and Bane from Batman’s notorious Rogues Gallery. Players will explore open-world Gotham City using iconic vehicles like the Batmobile from Batman: The Animated Series and Batpod from The Dark Knight films.
Campaign and Customization
The story follows Bruce Wayne’s journey from origin to legend—training with The League of Shadows, becoming Gotham’s hero, and building a family of allies including Jim Gordon and Talia al Ghul. Players confront expanding threats while uncovering crimes, completing challenges, and discovering Gotham’s secrets.
Customization includes 100+ suits and outfits inspired by Batman’s legacy across film, television, comics, and games, plus 250+ Batcave props and trophies. The Golden Age Batsuit unlocks free for Warner Bros. Games account holders.
Edition Differences and DLC
Standard Edition pre-orders receive The Dark Knight Returns Batsuit at launch. Deluxe Edition adds the Legacy Collection (Arkham Trilogy, Batman Beyond, Party Music packs with 30+ items at launch) and Mayhem Collection (September 2026) introducing playable Joker and Harley Quinn with new story mission and Sinister Pack.
Four LEGO DC Batman physical sets launching March 1 include exclusive in-game content: Batman Logo set unlocks gold Batsuit, while vehicle sets provide playable and exclusive gold variants. These items are exclusive to physical set purchases.

Open World Batman Experience
Developed by TT Games, Legacy of the Dark Knight combines decades of Batman media—films, TV shows, comics, games—with DC lore and signature LEGO humor. The open-world action-adventure lets players traverse Gotham freely, customize the Batcave extensively, and experience Bruce Wayne’s complete transformation into the Dark Knight.
Pre-orders include platform-specific early access opportunities and exclusive bonuses. Switch 2 version timing will be announced later. Visit LEGOBatmanGame.com for details, and follow TechnoSports for gaming news.
