The O3 Pro features a 6.56-inch HD+ display with a resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels and a 90Hz refresh rate. The front-facing camera is located in a punch-hole cutout. It is powered by a Unisoc T606 octa-core processor that’s scored over 2.3 lakh points in the AnTuTu benchmark, proving to be a power-efficient chip for the phone. It features 4GB of RAM and 128GB of expandable internal storage. Now, there’s also support for up to 4GB of virtual RAM for smoother multitasking.

The O3 Pro has a 50MP primary camera but lacks specifics regarding the remaining sensors and runs on Android 14 OS. It has an 8MP front camera for selfies. It draws power from a 5000mAh battery with 10W standard charging support. And its security is taken care of with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and Face Unlock.

Compared to its predecessor, the Lava O2, the O3 Pro brings several updates and changes. A step up from the O2’s Unisoc T616 chipset, the O3 Pro operates on the latest T606 SoC for better performance. The RAM, though, gets reduced to 4GB in the O3 Pro from the O2’s 8GB. The O3 features a new triple 50MP camera design, up from dual 50MP cameras on the O2.

Although it still has the same 5000mAh battery, fast charging has been reduced from 18W to 10W. The Lava O2 was priced at ₹8,499 at launch, making the O3 Pro a more affordable option for those seeking a budget-friendly smartphone. With these improvements, the Lava O3 Pro aims to offer a better overall package at a competitive price point in the budget segment.
