Lava Launches Women-Only Assembly Line at Its Noida Plant

The homegrown smartphone brand has launched a dedicated women’s assembly line at its manufacturing facility in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, as part of a broader initiative to bring women from underprivileged backgrounds into the formal industrial workforce.

The initiative currently enables over 150 young women, many of whom are first-generation industrial workers, to enter the workforce through roles spanning assembly, packaging, quality control, industrial engineering, production planning, and even HR and plant support.
